Vignoble du Rêveur Vibrations Riesling 2013

Talented, third generation winemaker Mathieu Deiss works most of his time at the family estate, Domaine Marcel Deiss, in the heart of Alsace, but since 2013 he’s also been working on his own project. He inherited seven hectares from his uncle and grandfather and, gradually, little by little, he’s been converting them to organic viticulture. Using methods his grandfather would have done. He says “All his life, my grandfather fought for his independence, the true definition of liberty! Working his vines today is my homage to his fight, to his idealistic dream.” Rêveur Vibrations is part of that tribute – they are wines that dare to dream, to break the rules. Using natural yeasts and lees ageing, this superb white has complexity and weight.
