This is a juicy, youthful Merlot from Maria Angeles Camara, who also makes our popular, mature, oaky Palacio del Conde range of wines. Merlot is gaining ground in Spain as more people come to appreciate its irresistible red fruit charms. This one comes from elevated vineyards 30 miles inland from the bustling Mediterranean city of Valencia, where the great and good of Madrid head for sun, sea and fine local food and wine.
