It’s an exclusive cuvée made for us by the multi talented Julián and Javier Murúa, the father and son duo behind our No.1 Rioja Barón de Barbón. There’s a secret to Finca’s fresh, subtly oaked fruit (think spiced poached plums and red cherries) and that’s the climate of northeast Spain. The vineyards here are influenced by both the Atlantic and the Med, and yields are carefully controlled to ensure quality. This mouthwatering Tempranillo knocks spots off lesser ‘tintos’ with irresistible soft red fruit flavours. Serve to good friends with tapas (garlic mushrooms or bruschetta), or chicken with roasted vegetables.
