The Graves, south of Bordeaux town, is distinguished by gravelly soil, creating clarets quite distinct in character from those of the Médoc, further north. As the name of this cuvée suggests, Le Bourdillot 2009 is gorgeously, seductively smooth.

Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon aged for a year in fine French oak barrels and skilfully blended produce sensationally ripe, smooth and complex flavours.
